In 2022, Pack 7 merged with Pack 14 combining membership and leadership. Pack 14 is made up of both boys and girls who are in kindergarten through fifth grade (ages 5-11) in public and private schools in the city of San Francisco.
Pack 14 is run entirely by parent volunteers and is divided by grade levels into Dens:
o Lions – Kindergarten
o Tigers – 1st grade
o Wolfs – 2nd grade
o Bears – 3rd grade
o Webelos – 4th and 5th grade
Our Pack and Dens follow a standard curriculum as an age group focusing on learning by doing. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting; citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. As the scouts complete their adventures, they earn belt loops (Lion, Tigers, Wolf and Bears) or pins (Webelos).
In addition to the meetings, hiking, spending the night on a submarine or aircraft carrier, flag-planting, etc. are all part of the cub scout experience. We also host one to two overnight camp opportunities to introduce your child and family to the camping experience.
