ACTIVITIES

_____

Pack 14 hosts meetings, hikes, camping trips and special events that all scouts are encouraged to attend.  Below is a brief description of our activities.

MEETINGS

Pack meetings take place once a month at Calvary Presbyterian Church on the corner of Fillmore and Jackson Streets in San Francisco.  This meeting is for the scouts and their families.  In addition, Scouts meet with their age-appropriate Dens typically at least once a month.   Den meetings are designed for Cub Scouts to complete requirements to advance and earn their badge of rank.  The Cub Scout year generally follows the school year.  Over the summer we may have special scheduled activities, but no formal Pack or Den meetings.

HIKES

Pack 14 takes advantage of the Bay Area and California's great natural resources.  Yearly Pack-wide hikes include the Battery to Bluffs trail at Battery Godfrey, and a flashlight hike with Boy Scout Troop 14.

CAMPING

Pack 14 schedules at least one weekend camping trip for scout families a year.  Camping destinations have included BSA's Camp Royaneh, the Wente Scout Reservation, and the YMCA's Jones Gulch.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Pack 14's annual special events include the Pinewood Derby race, a sleepover on the USS Hornet, Scout Night at a Warriors game, and our end of year Blue & Gold Banquet.
